| Milw. 70C,70B,63A rest in Iron Mountain while the crew talks over a track issue with the section foreman. They no doubt had a lot to talk about as deferred maintenance was becoming an issue on most Milwaukee lines by this time. The crusty F's were assigned to the Groveland Mine job at the time. It was a short trip and the units normally made it with a minimum of fuss although the crews usually had to make some quick on the go repairs most runs. |
