Remarks & Notes |
The only FP45 that WC bought managed to run around in a few different looks before it was finally given a full repaint. It first operated in full Santa Fe paint and number, then it was ran in this scheme with full Santa Fe paint but renumbered and with a small WC on the lower cab. After some confusion the big Santa Fe on the side was covered over with solid red, somewhat like the Soo's "bandit" treatment of Milwaukee Road units. Then it was given full WC paint. Here a still good looking 6652 and 5388 lead a extra train 41 approaching the downgrade of Byron Hill.
