Florida East Coast 4-6-2 145, Class 151, was one of 87 ALCO built 4-6-2s purchased between 1907 and 1922. FEC 145 had 68" drivers, 22 x 26 inch cylinders, boiler pressure of 180 lbs, and produced 28,314 lbs of tractive effort. They were all built as oil burners, and starting in the late 1930s, many were sold to other railroads. FEC 145, along with five others, was sold to the Atlanta & St Andrews Bay Railroad in 1935. This image from my collection was taken in Miami in April, 1923.
