Remarks & Notes
Steam Lives on the Cog! For the most part, steam has disappeared from the Mt. Washington Cog for 2 exceptions: the early morning excursion and special trips. Today, the MBRRE is taking the steamer up to the socked in summit, with a 5:30 departure time. Here, it is seen starting the climb to the summit as it crosses the Ammonoosuc River near the base station.
