| Goodbye old friends! This funeral train is repositioning former Erie Lackawanna Pullman-Standard Dieseliners (later New Jersey Transit Comet 1 cars) from Moorpark to Saugus, where their fate does not look good. There are missing windows and missing seats on much of the equipment. When an Amtrak later passed this train, the engineer said to this train "Nice equipment you got there." |
