Remarks & Notes
The mighty Pennsylvania Railroad left it's mark on Baltimore when it built it's imposing Penn Station in 1911 about a mile and a half north of downtown. Originally called Union Station until 1928, it served the Western Maryland as well. Today it serves Amtrak and MARC.
