Lander, MD 3/15/2012 - A locomotive type that once led the hottest intermodal trains over this former B&O mainline, the GP-40-2 has been relegated mostly to local service, as in this Brunswick-based trash train, hauling 10 cars of waste to an incinerator adjacent to the nearby Pepco power station at Dickerson, MD. Notice the conductor, who appears to be taking a picture, but in actuality is likely mocking the "foamer" taking a picture of his train.
