| A helper set was providing a bit of retardation on an eastbound unit grain train as it dropped downgrade through Benny Interlocking in Bennington, PA on Jan. 12, 1975. Looking back, the practice of running a boxcar between the train and the caboose on coal and grain trains was employed by several railroads then. |
