Remarks & Notes
Wow, a sunny April day in Oregon?? Grab the camera. Forty-four miles south of Portland, the 2nd section of scheduled Train 665 is considered "westbound" on SP at Brooks, Oregon headed for Eugene, the Cascade Summit and on to Calif. with loads of lumber and plywood before the days of center-beam flat cars. One of three Krauss-Maffei ML-4000 diesel hydraulics bought by SP (and usually operated with an EMD cab F unit), the 9001 is passing a work extra in the siding with SD-9 5425 on April 7, 1964.

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
