Remarks & Notes
Speers Ferry, VA 7/23/12 - Thirty minutes under the massive Copper Creek Viaduct on the former Clinchfield Railroad shows the rotation of the earth, pivtoing around the North Star. One general manifest freight passed northbound over the bridge during the exposure, completely undetectable in the image because of the length of exposure time. Note the "Clinchfield Railroad" stencil on the bridge in the upper right hand corner. Black & White image; 18mm, ISO 250, f/5, 30 minutes.
