A Chicago & North Western C44-9W leads Union Pacific's LAAP (Los Angeles - American President Lines) stack train down Erda Hill just before sunset on August 19, 1995. Two CNWs are in the power consist teaming up with three UP SD60Ms. New Chicago & North Western GE power was all over the Union Pacific system soon after the 1995 merger.
