Remarks & Notes
First Great Western power car 43179 leads the 05.58 Swansea to London Paddington service into Swindon station.Timed to depart at 07.58,the train will cover the 77 miles to London in just 55 minutes. This whole scene will undergo immense change over the next few years, with the imminent electrification of "Brunels Railway",and, sadly, the demise of the much loved High Speed Trains.
