| Framed by the station footbridge, 156451 departs Wylam with the first passenger train of the day over the Tyne Valley line from Carlisle to Newcastle. I had intended to get a shot of the RHTT here, but it ran earlier than normal and passed before I arrived so I had to make do with this instead.
Wylam Signal Box sits over the line in the background, this is one of only two remaining NER bridge style boxes (the other being further up the line at Hexham).
