Remarks & Notes
Charles Town, WV 11/20/2012 - Just before midnight, a thin layer of fog clings to the edges of the field as the moon begins to set over the Norfolk Southern / CSX diamond which crosses the NS "H-Line" with the CSX Shenandoah Subdivision. The "H-Line" links Roanoke and Hagerstown, and the Shenandoah Subdivision links Winchester, VA and points south with the Cumberland Subdivision at Harper's Ferry. ISO 500, f/5, 30 seconds.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
