Two DPUs on NS empty coal train 431 prepare to push northbound out of Granite City. The NKP heritage unit, NS 8100, is the interior DPU. This train actually sported two heritage units: the Nickel Plate Road Gevo on the rear and the PC ACe on the head end.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
