Remarks & Notes
The crew of BNSF 7222 snake their train along the Wind River north towards Thermopolis, Wyoming and away from small storms that are starting to form to the south. The Wind River headwaters are at the Wind River Lake in the Rocky Mountains. The river flows north where it is dammed at the south end of the canyon to form the Boysen Reservoir. The river continues to flow north through the canyon to the north end which is called the Wedding of the Waters. Here the Wind River turns into the Bighorn River.
