| An empty Norfolk Southern coal train rolls west through Welch, West Virginia about to enter the tunnel portal on a foggy March morning. From this vantage point you can see how all the homes cling to the steep mountain sides. The creek and road weave around the mountains as the tracks borrow through here. |
