Remarks & Notes

I first noticed this rather large divot on top of the CSX main track near the diamond with the Florida Northern at the old Ocala passenger station. I then noticed that both double tracks had this type of divot near the diamond, for a total of 8 divots, so I took this photograph wondering why it was done this way.
