The large entrance hall of the SCMaglev and Railway Park shows three outstanding exhibits, each demonstrating japanese speed records. From left steamlocomotive C62 17 which reached 129 km/h on cape gauge in 1954, in the middle electric test vehicle 300X of the 955 class, which reached 443 km/h in 1996 on the standard gauge, and on the right super conducting magnetic levitation train MLX01, which reached 581 km/h in 2003 on the Yamanashi Maglev Test Line.
