| An IAIS business train being pulled by the Rock Island heritage came around a corner and struck this Canadian Pacific hi-rail truck trying to get off the tracks at the Fairmount Street crossing. The CP truck driver got on the wrong set of tracks and travelled 3 miles on the wrong railroad before realizing his mistake. Thankfully nobody was injured. After a 2.5 hour delay to remove the truck from the rail the train was able to continue to South Amana. 513 suffered little damage and was back in regular service later that evening after receiving repairs. |
