On September 3, 2013 Amtrak's Phase III heritage unit #145 left Chicago on the point of #3, and is seen here parked at Kansas City Union Station. As of the time of this writing, the train should be between Albuquerque and Gallup, NM.
Though I'm partial to Phase II, my non-railfan girlfriend (that's redundant) says that this one "looks good" and "should still be the paint scheme they use." I told her she's not alone in that thinking.
