Amtrak Train No. 3, The Southwest Chief, makes its station stop at Kansas City Union Station on a warm August night. Amtrak's Missouri River Runner can be seen laying over for the night on the next track back and KCS 34 is tucked in back beside the station. Kansas City Union Station will be celebrating its 100th year in 2014.
