For the first time since the late 80s/early 90s, the Great Western Railway of Colorado ran a Christmas passenger special, this one carrying Santa Claus to Boardwalk Park in Windsor. After the train dropped off Santa, it pulled forward about a mile to tie down for the day until it needed to take Santa away. GW's car 'Yellowstone' was the car doing the honors, and a hi-rail vehicle followed it as it hasn't run in about 20 years.
