Remarks & Notes
The Rocky Mountaineer's Coastal Passage train making a surprise trip along the BNSF Scenic Subdivision in Edmonds as it continues the trip to Seattle from Vancouver B.C. I didn't expect this train to make a trip down here until I was tipped off by my close friend, who happens to work at the Bellingham Amtrak station and ended up seeing the train going through. I'm guessing, based on the dispatcher asking the crew about this train, this is a extra run for either training purpose for the crew inside or for VIP/media relations purposes. Their 1st official passenger run will start on May 10th. If you want to see when they will be running into Seattle during the summer, here's the link. http://www.canadianrockiestrains.com/rocky-mountaineer-seattle/
