UP 844 and UP 6936 lead the annual Denver Post-sponsored Cheyenne Frontier Days train out of Nunn, CO, on July 23, 2011. At Nunn, the hill to Speer steepens, so the locomotives were working pretty good to keep the 23-car train full of happy passengers at track speed.
Meanwhile, a crop duster does its weekly duty, circling to come down and get the field behind us. It certainly had a nice view of the yearly trip!
