It's a friendlier rivalry than Yankees and Red Sox as New York City R7 car No. 1440 sits next to Boston Elevated's Tower C, both now located at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Maine. Museum assistant yard master Eric Gilman is at the controls of the rapid transit set, which also includes R4 No. 800. The scene was part of Seashore's annual night photo event.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
