| NS #8114, the "Original Norfolk Southern" accelerates its train (218) after crossing the Scioto River near Piketon, Ohio on a beautiful August evening. 218 and its counterpart 217 are the highest priority trains on NS' Columbus Line. An interdivisional crew takes it to Portsmouth, Ohio where it will receive fuel and a new crew who are seldom held up long. |
