orfolk Southern train H53 is a transfer that runs from the Buffalo, NY area into the province of Ontario via what is known as the International Bridge located in Fort Erie, ON and Buffalo, NY. The bridge spans the Niagara River, and receives around 5-7 trains on normal days. Here, H53 is pictured with 2 of NS's SD40-2 locomotives idling for a RTC clearance and the engineer taking a short break outside. Minutes later, they fired the bad boys up and took off northbound towards another part of Fort Erie.
