On its maiden run from the N.C. Transportation Museum in Spencer to the Roanoke Virginia Museum of Transportation, N&W J-Class No. 611 leads NS 957 through the community of Jamestown, N.C. northbound on NS' former Southern Railway Danville District. Special thanks to the Fire up 611! committee, Norfolk Southern, Virginia Museum of Transportation, and the N.C. Transportation Museum for making this dream a reality once more.
