Remarks & Notes
When the stars align (and the Milky Way too)... New England Central Railroad's northbound train 323-15 is seen crossing the White River at West Hartford, Vermont, at 2:35 a.m. on July 16 with NECR SD40-2 3405 (ex-NECR/CR 6281) leading SD40T-2 3317 and GP40-2LW 3015. The in-camera double exposure shows the exceptionally clear night and even visible is a portion of the Milky Way. 10-second exposure followed by the flash photo - 400 ISO; 1/200; f5.6 for the train flash

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
