EDPL, the Monday train for the Plainville, CT based PL-1 crew, is chasing Amtrak 55's markers as it blazes down the Conn River Mainline. The crew will spend the next three days in Connecticut, before returning on PLED Friday, with outbound traffic. To the left are two ex-B&M cabeese, spending their remaining years in clear view of "The Vermonter" passengers. Until last year, this trackage was true to Guilford form, 10mph jointed rail. The entire length of Pan Am's section of the Conn River has been upgraded for Amtrak's return to this routing.
