CSXT shenanigans. Such was the case on a warm Saturday at Selkirk Yard when the add- on power for ethanol train K634-26, a CSXT SD40-2 8872, inexplictedly shut off and failed to restart after the crew's brake test on the east end of Track 12. After a visit by the Selkirk Flying Squad, it was decided to return to the fuel plant for a second add on unit. Finally after another brake test and a six hour delay at Selkirk, this Motiva bound ethanol finally stormed on Track One on the curve south of Ravena. Leading the charge is the newest add on CSXT SD70AC 4828 leading the DIT 8872 with the original power of CP 6245 CP 5420 & DME 6070. I counted myself lucky I was able to get a daylight shot of this train at my favorite afternoon curve alongside Route 9W.
