Sheepscot arrival. There aren't many places left where you can easily re-create history without having to resort to a lot of digital wizardry. The WW&F Museum is one such place....where the calendar says it's 1930 every day. The yard is replete with period equipment and props and the crew often dresses in period garb. You won't have to worry about how you'll clone out the microphones and radios.....because they just don't use any. Signalling happens with hands, flags, lanterns and whistles, just as it was 85 years ago. You truly do drive through a time warp when you take that left off Route 218 North, onto Cross Road in Alna.
In this scene, a WW&F crew at Sheepscot watches the arrival of a freight train from the north. As she stops for water, they'll load bales of hay, destined for dairy farms closer to Wiscasset. Our actors this night from left to right are Dana, Stewart and JB crewing the old Ford AA Stakebed, and Bill, Gordon and Joe on the freight....all of whom are visible in this shot.
