Approaching Haydenville, Ohio, #3 passes the former Haydenville depot of the Hocking Valley Railway, later Chesapeake & Ohio. Haydenville was a large brickmaking center, prompting the railroad to replace the previous wooden depot that burned with one made of local Haydenville glazed brick. This depot, like most of the company structures in town, is on the National Register of Historic Places.
