"Carroll Gardens/Manhattan.” No. 1 World Trade and it’s skyscraper friends shake off yet another New York storm and stand behind the much more modest homes of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Threading the two neighborhoods is the energetic F train, dutifully rumbling by on its trestle.

This image was a "Judges Also Liked" selection in the Center of Railroad Photography and Art's "Winners of the 2015 Gruber Awards: Be Creative" photo contest.
