Remarks & Notes
Passing through the rural oil rich fields of north Bakersfield in southern California's Kern County, SJVR's westbound 905 job rumbles up former Santa Fe iron (now the short-line's Landco Subdivision) en route to Union Pacific's Fresno Subdivision at Oil Junction. Once on UP iron the local will shove back 'into town' to switch the former Southern Pacific yard in Bakersfield before tying up for the day. Power for today's local consist of GP28 1826 (ex-IC 9431) and GP15-1 1561 (ex-Conrail 1625).
