| Amtrak's eastbound Southwest Chief picks up speed as it enters the 90 MPH ATS track territory between Darling and Winslow as it heads east down the Arizona Divide. Amtrak usually passes through here during the night, but this train hit a trespasser the night before in Barstow. Now, the Chief makes a rare afternoon run across the northern Arizona high country with the San Francisco Peaks towering over the land. |
