| When it was initially painted in 2003 to honor the B&O anniversary, the original anniversary number on the banner was 175 since the B&O began construction in 1828. As another decade has gone by since then, the "7" has been replaced with an "8" to keep the anniversary accurate to this decade. If you look hard enough, you can still see the original "7" on the banner. |
