Remarks & Notes
The walls of Colorado's Royal Gorge tower high above the former Union Pacific mainline that transversed from the plains to the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The portion in which the track navigates the gorge is now Operated by the tourist railroad by the name of Canon City & Royal Gorge Railway. The 3:30 train is seen here rolling into the town of Parkdale where it will stop and wait for a signal before reversing back east to Canon City.
