| The famous Montana Rail Link gas train now usually contains lumber cars ever since the Paradise local was abolished. The local out of Paradise use to handle these duties but a slow down in the lumber industry in the area made the job unneeded with the gas train taking care of what was still left. The gas train often goes up the 4th Sub now in order to switch Tricon Timber in St. Regis instead of the very scenic 10th Sub between Missoula and Paradise. |
