I can’t really imagine sending this image as a post card to somebody saying “wish you were here”. But by goodness it gave me enormous pleasure photographing the locos and heavy industry here. In this scene, a JS locomotive unloads coal from the open pit at the second disposal point (not the washery) in Sandaoling. Xinjiang Province, China.
