This is another of those shots I'd always wanted and just got luck this day and stumbled upon it. It seems a bit like honorary street running and just had an incongruous charm about it.

Down in south Seattle there is a funky cool little neighborhood called Georgetown. The UP's Argo yard has a lead track that extends about six blocks south down an alley one block to the west of Airport Way. It's amazing to see a locomotive wobbling out through the dirt and puddles as pedestrians, garbage trucks, taxis, and even the USPS weave around them. This little geep sure has come a long way from hustling across Texas from her days on the old Katy.
