We get a glimpse of Nashville & Eastern Railroad biggest power on their roster at the time is NERR 7082. Without taking a wild guess, you could definitely tell who was the original owner of this mighty C30-7. NERR 7082 started its career as Seaboard Coast Line (SCL) 7082 in the short lived Family Lines System paint scheme on November 1982, and served as the one of the many locomotive that was part of the Seaboard System/CSX era superfleet til its retirement from CSX in thefirst several years of the 2000s. Nashville & Eastern acquired ex: CSX 7082, and sister unit 7025 and was used til it was retired once again, and the Nashville & Eastern seen fit to use four axles GE B-B type locomotive was much better to use on the 130 miles long short line. Recently both NERR 7082 and 7025 was sold, and sent south to its new owner, but the condition, and where about are unknown.
