Remarks & Notes
Here we see three veteran workhorses of the BNSF, each representing a different scheme and a combined 114 years of service. BNSF 1656 was built for the Burlington Northern in 1978 and is one of the fallen flag bearers of the Cascade Green BN units. BNSF 1732 and 1892 were built in 1980 and 1979 respectively for the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe and wore Bluebonnet paint schemes before being repainted. 1732 wears the Heritage III scheme and 1892 wears the Heritage II scheme.
