Remarks & Notes

The second section of the 12:30 train nears the summit while a hiker pauses along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. The beautiful sunny weather with temperatures in the 80s made the mountain a popular destination this particular weekend. Hikers could be seen up and down the various trails on the highest mountain in the Northeastern United States.
