The "Other" Altoona. The Club 400 bar sits across the street from the CNW (now UP) yard and depot in Altoona, WI. The bar, located on Spooner Street (another CNW town), pays tribute to the "400" passenger trains that used to ply the CNW in passenger train days. It hasn't changed much since I took this photo in September of 1987 and is worth a stop if you are in the area.
