During the late evening hours, NS 710 (Carbo,VA-Birmingham,AL) is waiting for permission by the CT-Dispatcher to proceed north down the main 1 track for a crew change at Camera in the Terminal. The 88 car loaded coal bucket had originated Superior,WV out of the True Energy Coal Sales Mines on the NS Pocahontas Div. and the train is head for ABC Coke Division of Drummond Corp. in the Metro Birmingham area. Doing the honor on today NS 710 is the NS 1067 the Reading Co. Commemorative units which the railroad itself played a important roll for the industry in southeast Pennsylvania and neighboring states from 1924 to the creation of Conrail in 1976.
