Having just joined the 'Overland Main' at Speer Junction the annual CFD special drops down grade into Cheyenne with a trainload of passengers eager to attend Frontier Day's opening ceremony. For the 2015 edition of the special Union Pacific's elegant A-B-A set of E9s (E38-2s if you like) and DDA40X 6936 provided the muscle with a compliment of 21 pieces of Union Pacific's well polished varnish providing the accommodations for passengers.
