| After the brake tests with the locomotive alone, the test with a load of 35 ton started. The 0-8-0 cogwheel locomotive HG 4/4 # 704 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke is shoving three passenger cars with a weight of 35 tons on the adhesion section towards the rack section. The locomotive was built in 1923 by SLM Winterthur for Indochina and never ran in Switzerland before. It was brought back from Vietnam in 1990 as scrap metall and is now like new. |
