A Winter Scene Made For Ektachrome. An early November snow storm turned the Hudson Valley into a late fall winter wonderland this week as Amtrak 252 passes through Manitou, NY on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Due to trackwork the train has a P42 (111, Phase V) leading and a P32 (714, Phase III), which will allow the train to turn in New York’s Penn Station instead of going to Sunnyside Yard. This photo was taken from over a mile away, so the cold crisp air really helped!
